I'm a beekeeper who is motivated by a love for bee conservation and an unyielding dedication to unheated raw honey. I experienced the amazing flavors of honey from the hive about 10 years ago when inspecting my first hive. I would sneak little tastes of honey from the hive as I was inspecting the bess and the flavors were like nothing I had ever experienced before. My goal is to have other people have that flavor experience with the different varietal honeys we offer. My love for honey has resulted in a deeply profound love for the bees as I understood how important they are to our local food systems. So since the early days of our farmers market selling experience, we have given away a packet of wildflower seeds so our customer can provide food for the bees in their backyard. in 2017 we started the Hollow Tree Honey Foundation and we have expanded our conservation efforts to providing community events where we build native bee boxes to increase habitat for the bees. We are also installing local pollinator gardens with local partners. We hope our efforts with increase the flavor experience when our customers taste real honey from the hive and that will inspire them to help their local bees that so desperately need their help!
