About Bottled Up Designs

A life long collector of antique bottles and glassware, I have spent countless hours picking through the old bottle and glass dumps found so commonly in the rural Pennsylvania Amish Country where I have lived my whole life. One day while on a dig I noticed a baby fawn and mother doe laying nearby. When they caught sight of me they were up and away and I was horrified to see the fawn had been laying on the jagged remains of an old bottle. I realized in that moment the danger this broken old glass was to these habitats and changed my mission. I started bringing home the broken pieces and with a lot of love, and creative energy my brand was born. Bottled Up Designs is handmade from these beautiful but broken old treasures I bring out of the environment tossed there so long ago. As a life long collector, I prepare for each piece "The Story of the Glass" detailing the history and age of the glass used. Pieces include vintage Mason jars, Noxzema Jars, vintage beer and wine bottles, antique depression glass and more!
