About Lumi + Sol

Lumi + Sol was born inside the walls of our small-town shop, Local Whimsy, right on Main Street in Gig Harbor, Washington. As store owners, curators, and moms, we spent years searching for jewelry and accessories that looked beautiful, held up to real life, and felt intentional. We were either met with fast fashion that tarnished or wore out too quickly, or premium pieces that didn’t match the needs (or budgets) of the women we serve. So we created Lumi + Sol: a line of minimal, high-quality jewelry, accessories, and handbags designed for everyday life. From hypoallergenic, water-friendly jewelry to vegan leather bags that carry it all, every piece is made to live in and made to last. Our brick-and-mortar shop is where each item begins. We launch every style in-store first, where it’s worn, tested, and loved by our local community. Only the customer-approved favorites make it to wholesale, so you can feel confident you’re offering pieces that already resonate. The name comes from two words we hold close: Lumi, meaning light, and Sol, meaning sun. Together, they reflect what we want women to feel when they wear our pieces: not dressed up, just lit up.
