About WKND WYFR (Weekend Wayfarer)

WKND is a uniquely American lifestyle apparel brand that is colorful, joyful and instantly recognizable. Founded in 2017, by Helen Martinez, the first spark of WKND began abroad, during a trip for a friend’s wedding in India. A lifelong passion for print & design led Helen to spend an afternoon visiting a small family-owned manufacturer (with whom she still works today!), learning the looming process and how to block print fabrics. Helen took the prints, designs and techniques to heart, and using the relationships she made, the first WKND Collection was born. Now in over 100+ stores nationwide, Helen designs each season as a reflection of her passion for intricate textiles, travel and vibrant design. Helen lives in Florida with her husband and two daughters.
