About AliMo Designs

I am the wife of a retired Air Force Sergeant and we have two sons. I grew up and met my husband in San Antonio, Texas. The name aliMo came from our memory of the time we spent in the Alamo City. Being in a house full of boys and boy things, this creative outlet has been a beautiful experience to regain to my love of unique fashion. My friends call me a fashionista. ALWAYS shopping and thinking outside the box. I began my journey as a preschool teacher. I loved teaching young kiddos, but my passion has always been making things. Trying to be a little different in my fashion, I have always cut and sewed new styles of clothes and made homemade items to wear. When I realized I always wore studs I wanted to branch out, polymer clay and leather helped me do that. The one problem that everyone has told me throughout this journey, is that they can’t wear heavy styles. SO my mission has been to bring statement pieces to the masses without the weight. I have been on a quest for beautiful lightweight jewelry anyone can enjoy. It has been such a wonderful journey finding fun designs and fabrics that can brighten up someone’s life.
