The art and science of coffee may not be everyone’s passion, but it’s definitely ours. Even if you don’t get as excited about experimenting with new roast profiles and coffee origins as we do, we bet you’ll be pretty excited about the end result. Coffee is a ton of fun, it doesn’t need to be snobby, but it does need to be fresh, local, and delicious. Dogs and coffee… How could you not love both? When we were deciding what we wanted to do with this new brand of ours, helping animals just felt right. That’s why our profit goes towards charities dedicated to helping animals. We’ve chosen to support Bunny’s Buddies and their mission to rescue dogs from slaughterhouses, kill shelters and the streets of China & South Korea. The following is taken from bunnysbuddies.org: “An estimated 30,000,000 dogs and cats die across Asia each year, all in the name of human consumption. Not only are these animals being consumed in various parts of our world, they are being brutally tortured to death as many cultures genuinely believe that the more the animal suffers, the more tender their meat will be. You may think these are stray or wild dogs but that is not often the case as many of these precious creatures are stolen directly from their homes or sold by their owners for profit.
