About Everest Designs

Ang Choti Sherpa is a Nepalese born knitwear designer and mother of two. Her work is inspired by the beautiful clothing she and her five sisters designed to be worn during festival season high up in the her Himalayan village of Phaplu Solu Khumbu near Mount Everest. In founding Everest Designs, Choti has worked to give back to both her communities in Nepal and in her current home, Missoula, MT. Everest Designs is a part of the Fair Trade Federation and makes annual donations to organizations serving these communities. We are currently supporting Friends of Parents of Children with Autism, an organization of Nepali mothers developing better lives for their children. At Everest Designs, we are committed to providing you with exquisite handmade items from Nepal. Our collection features hand-dyed, hand-knit garments crafted from 100% New Zealand wool, including hats, skirts, and accessories. We collaborate directly with our artisans to create knitwear that is both beautiful and durable. As a family-oriented business, we prioritize meaningful contributions to our community and believe in the importance of paying it forward, ensuring that we give back to the communities that have supported our journey.Read their story
