Rust + Wicks is a woman-owned small business that celebrates the scents of rural Northern California. ​ Grace Hendricks is the passionate and creative owner behind Rust & Wicks, an artisanal hand poured candle company. With a lifelong love for candle-making, Grace decided to take her craft to the next level to create a healthier, cleaner, and non-toxic candle option. Her scented candles are inspired by the memories of her upbringing in a small town in Northern California, Mendocino, near where she hand pours each candle now in the redwood surrounded town of Comptche. She captures the area in her fragrances from the towering redwoods to the cypress covered headlands to the heirloom rose bushes. Rust & Wicks candles are made with the highest quality fragrance oils and domestically grown, all-natural, clean-burning soy wax. Her fragrances are designed to transport you to a simpler time, and evoke memories of the relaxing and peaceful atmosphere of beautiful Mendocino in rural Northern California.  ​Read their story
