Created in 2016, La Museuse was born from the desire of its designer, Amélie, to offer pretty printed cotton bags, that we can roll and take everywhere: for shopping, the beach, weekends on a trip... Gradually, a collection of clothing, scarves, pouches came to complete the initial range of bags. With a credo: clothing and accessories accomplice to your outings, and made in France. All models are created by Amélie in Ile de France, near Versailles. The choice of French manufacturing was obvious: - In order to defend employment and enhance French know-how, - In order to promote the short circuit so to reduce our carbon footprint. The bags are made in a partner workshop in Normandy, the clothes, scarves and pouches are made in assisted centers in the Yvelines (78). A fan of beautiful fabrics and prints, La Museuse selects high quality textiles, mainly European (Liberty of London cottons, Danish oilcloths, French cottons and suedines, Dutch wax...) but also Japanese and Indonesian (traditional and artisanal cottons). The cuts, very studied, are worked to combine the aesthetics of materials and shapes, and practicality and comfort. Why the Muzzle? Museuse is a synonym for shuntler, walker... A woman who, like your clients, is active, but likes to take the time to look at the beauty around her.
