Mexilove source the best traditional handcrafts - handmade by Mexican Artisans. We have colourful homewares and accessories which make a unique and recognisable statement. Each product is the result of deep Mexican tradition and comes with its own story that we love to share. Our purpose does not stop at our products - we are about empowering indigenous female Artisans to become entrepreneurs, leaders and ambassadors of culture - just as we advocate the culture of Mexico in our home: Sydney, Australia. Most of the artesanía produced in Mexico contains decorative details in bright colors. Pyramids, temples, murals, textiles and religious objects were painted or colored ochre red, bright green, burnt orange, various yellows and turquoise. These have informed the colour palette of MexiLove and our logo, which has the symbology of: Charro (Traditional dressed Artisan) Aguila (an eagle: the most iconic symbol of Mexico) Corazon (the heart form of our logo) Colibri (Hummingbirds symbolise freedom, abundance and love) Cactus (represents the nature and resourcefulness of Mexico) Some of the processes of manufacture common to artesanía along with our products include weaving, beading and leather work.Read their story
