About Little Plover

Little Plover was established in 2015 after Libby began drawing species of birds that she saw to help remember how to identify them. Since then, those drawings of birds have spread to every aspect of wildlife from plants and invertebrates to fungi and mammals and now they feature on cards, stationery, homeware and gifts. Every single one of them is inspired by British wildlife. Little Plover designs uniquely use a blend of illustrations, wordplay and annotations you can not only get a nugget of nature-based information from each design, you can get a beautifully crafted sustainably produced piece of art that you can send to spread the love, or keep for yourself. Now, with over 7,000 greetings cards sold, you can buy Little Plover products in shops, garden centres and museums across the UK including the RSPB, Turner Gallery and the Wildlife Trusts. Little Plover illustrations have also been licensed to organisations such as the Museum of English Rural Life and Waitrose. Libby has recently illustrated a book about birds for HarperCollins; ‘Tits, Boobies & Loons’ by Stu Royall which was published in 2022.
