About Ruth's Craft Shop

Hi, I'm Ruth! Ruth's Craft shop was founded in 2004 when I was 8 years old. My love for designing, painting, and crocheting led to the creations of many crafts including origami bookmarks, pom pom hats, and hand painted pots with silk flowers. My main inspiration in starting my own business at such a young age was my parents. They were both entrepreneurs, so you could say it runs in the family! Nothing compares to the freedom and flexibility you can have when working for yourself. Making crafts and running my business gives me joy! I love seeing the smile on my customers' faces when I take something they describe to me and turn it into a tangible item.Read their story
