About Claudia Pearson

London born Claudia Pearson settled in New York in the mid-1990s, having traveled to the 4 corners of the world, and began her career as a commercial illustrator. With a heritage in English teatime traditions, it made sense to marry her passion for drawing and her love of travel with a range of hand-drawn illustrated tea towels and so began Claudia Pearson. Ten years later and Claudia's brand has grown into an expansive line of tea towels, tote bags, and other accessories for the home using the finest source materials including canvas and flour sack cotton. The original values of expert attention to detail, ecological awareness, and premium U.S. made materials are evident in her products. 100% flour sack cotton and canvas totes are cut and sewn in the US and then each towel and tote is individually screen printed by a small family firm. Launching her product line from a small weekend booth at her local Brooklyn Fleamarket, Claudia's products are now stocked in stores across the US and shipped worldwide as they make fantastic gifts and home accessories. She lives in Brooklyn with her husband and two teenage sons and continues to travel as much as she can. Read their story
