About Rainbow Kiddo

hi friends :) , interested in finding out a bit about me? here is my story. in short, hihi. i was a lawyer in germany, travelled the world as a flight attendant, managed an international team of visual effects artists in l.a. aaaaaaaaand…. found my passion in motherhood. once i gave birth to my older daughter (whose middle name is rainbow) i embraced the creative part in me even more. i took my sewing machine out and restarted sewing. i had the first sewing machine when i was a teenager but now as a mom i became addicted to sewing children's clothing. it is soooooo much fun that i just cannot stop. recently i added children and adult mask to my collection. they are functional and look cute at the same time. i believe that children are motivated to wear them even more so if they not only like but LOVE the design. every day i am stunned how much love it is to create cool californian but european influenced ( i am originally from frankfurt) pieces for children and i am truly happy to share it with all the tiny people in this world :) . our home and my atelier is here in venice, california where i have now industrial sewing machines. i love l.a.'s and especially venice's vibe. when i sit at my sewing machine i sometimes look out of the window and stare into gorgeous palm trees. kind of a cool inspiration, right? so let me finish with this: i am very excited that RainbowKiddo will be part of your little one’s daily adventure. best, silam :)Read their story
