Meissa means "the Shining One" in Arabic and is the star that marks the head of the hunter in the constellation Orion. In 2018, Meissa Jewelry was founded in Los Angeles, California by Angel, a jewelry designer and a proud UC Berkeley grad. Fascinated by precious metals and gemstones since childhood, Angel was inspired to start a jewelry line of her own. Meissa is owned and operated by women and all of our jewelry are handmade with love. At Meissa, we strive to create elegant and simple jewelry pieces for everyday wear and to empower women to see their own beauty and strength. We hope that those who wear our jewelry can shine bright no matter where they go and know that they are beautiful just the way they are. Meissa, the Shining One, be your own kind of beautiful.
