Hanaa, the founder of La Plante Carnivore, is originally from Mauritius and moved to London to pursue her dreams in illustration. Hanaa takes inspiration from Mauritian and British flora and fauna, along with sweet anecdotes from loved ones, with the aim to inspire smiles and make day-to-day tasks less mundane. The name of 'La Plante Carnivore', the carnivorous plant in French, is a nod to Hanaa's Mauritian roots and fascination with carnivorous plants. All products are made in the UK, by carefully selecting other small businesses across the UK for the production of the items, while also being made from sustainable materials. Read their story
