About Produce Parties

Produce Parties began with a simple idea: if we celebrate humans with birthday parties, why not celebrate produce at its peak? What started as a 10-person potluck of friends on a Brooklyn rooftop—where guests had to incorporate a chosen seasonal produce into their dish—quickly grew into gatherings of over 400 strangners. This spirit of community and creativity inspired our magazine, a quarterly publication that honors seasonality, gathering, and storytelling. Each issue spotlights a single produce, chosen by our Instagram followers, and features recipes, stories, art, and essays from contributors worldwide.
