Nairian offers sustainable solutions for natural beauty from the Armenian highlands. Our home is Armenia, a small country full of sunshine and nutrient-rich volcanic soil that enhance our locally-sourced ingredients. Our products are hand crafted in small batches from formulas employing rigorous scientific method, honed through years of research. Our founder, Anahit Markosian, is a physicist turned chemist who specializes in aromatherapy. Anahit and her scientific team develop formulas that draw on principles of aromatherapy and harness the full potential of every ingredient. Nairian grows its ingredients according to the highest environmental standards on a pesticide-free farm in the rural village of Aragyugh. Our farm and laboratory provides this rural workforce with meaningful employment and long term agricultural development in a region where jobs paying a living wage have been scarce since the fall of the Soviet Union. Both in our offices and throughout our facilities, we limit unnecessary and wasteful energy consumption, and primarily use upcycled and recycled equipment. Read their story
