Nix + Ness makes inspiring, creative, and quality shoes that women can feel confident wearing. Each shoe is designed to support you through the day by providing comfortable footwear with a motivational message on the insole. Every shoe is designed by Nix & Ness in Denver by Liz. She researches amazing historical women and finds topical motivational quotes and uses elements of the woman and/or quote to inform her design process. We believe that shoes ground us, and that we should walk with intention every day. Liz works closely with our manufacturer, Kent, in Chengdu, China. Kent was a single mom when she started her factory ten years ago, and she has grown the factory as a family business. All Nix & Ness shoes are handmade, of highest quality - and Liz can show you pictures of her in the factory ensuring the quality!
