About Gibel

Gibèl is a Made in Italy brand, founded by Ginevra De Bellis, Fashion Designer and Stylist. Gibèl initially started as a swimwear brand and later introduced clothing and a sports line. It is an all-female brand aimed at those who seek classy and stylish garments but at the same time wish to dare and dream while keeping up with the latest trends. Our models are made in a workshop in Italy (in Rome) and the fabrics, selected between Italy and France, are mostly lycra and various microfibers for swimwear and the sporty line, and cotton, lycra, chiffon, jersey, and silk for clothing. This year we have also introduced eco-sustainable fabrics for swimwear and some sporty items, and we are about to launch an all-Eco Capsule Collection to safeguard our planet. The designer draws inspiration for her collections from nature, summer in all its forms, distant and imaginary destinations, and the desire for freedom, creating original and trendy garments that are constantly evolving.
