Hi, I’m Caroline—the founder of La Folie Press. This brand started during cancer treatment, when everything felt surreal and a little unhinged (and not in the fun way). Between hospital gowns and identity crises, I found myself craving humor—real, messy, honest humor. So I started writing it. “La Folie” means madness in French, which felt about right (considering). What began as a coping mechanism turned into a collection of paper goods that say the things your customers are thinking—but usually keep to themselves. Every card, pen, and gift is designed to spark that “ugh, that’s so me” moment: brutally relatable, a little emotionally chaotic, and impossible not to pick up.
