Eighty-Six A's history began in 1969 in Sao Paulo Brazil as a denim manufacturing factory, YD Confecções. After 45 years of expertise and manufacturing for big fashion houses such as Calvin Klein, Zara, Abercrombie & Fitch, Replay, C&A, and many more, we decided to open our private label, Eighty-Six A. Although, manufacturing is in Brazil the brand has been established in the beautiful city of Miami. All of our products are created in a separate part of the factory where all the work is done by experts’ craftsmen and artisans from the Sao Paulo region using top quality fabrics and garments. All the water used in production is biologically treated on our water treatment plants which are able to recycle 40,000 liters per hour. Never the less, the factory uses 50 acres in constant reforestation as fuel in order to decrease our carbon footprint. Eighty-Six A’s design is aesthetic and diverse in principle; all our jeans use the “Italian fit” with a combination of streetwear and formalwear. Our brand is currently working on collaborations with renown artists (musicians, and visual artists) to create limited edition pieces which we are handcrafting partly in Sao Paulo and Miami.Read their story
