Dermamilk’s goal is to provide the best skin care products available with European, milk-based formulations. The Layton, UT based business is owned by Lauris and Rese Davis, who take great pride in the quality of their products. The origin of these products was in Heidelberg, Germany at the Milchokosmetika Institute, where a team of scientists and milk chemists spent 20 years developing processes of using milk in skin care products. The products proved to be effective at repairing and protecting the skin. In the 1980s Dr. Dennis Everton, a Skin Surgeon from the U.S. found these products while traveling in Germany. He was impressed with the effectiveness of the products on the skin. He arranged to have the formulas brought back to the U.S. so he could produce a line of milk-based products for his medical salon in Arizona. Dr. Everton turned to world-renowned dairy scientist Dr. C.A. Ernstrom, “The Doc”, at Utah State University. Lauris, working with The Doc, refined the products for the U.S. market. The aestheticians working with the products found they had very positive results and knew there was a future for the milk-based formulations. Tragically, Dr. Everton suddenly passed away, but Lauris remained dedicated to developing these exceptional products and has continued to grow the business to this day. All Dermamilk products are made in-house in LAYTON, UT, which enables the maintenance of the highest standards of quality control.
