Drinks Farm is a farm that grows drinks. Owned and operated by winemaker Drea Scotland, Drinks Farm is an 8 acre organic farm in Demorestville, Prince Edward County that acts as the home base for growing sustainable crops for beverage making in a regenerative farming style. Cold climate hybrid grape varieties are the main crop while other fruits, herbs, roots and flowers are grown for creating a a portfolio of agricultural drinks that are as diverse as the farm itself. The monoculture of the modern vineyard not only creates stress on a single farm but also on the small business model. The innovative and unique angle of Drinks Farm is to produce natural wines while also producing other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages from a variety of crops grown at Drinks Farm as well as ingredients sourced from neighbouring farms and small producers.Read their story
