About Citrus Tree
Hello & welcome to our store! Citrus Tree launched on August 3rd of 2020 with its Signature Collection, consisting of 6 different scents. I live in Bothell, WA (Greater Seattle Area) nestled in the beautiful PNW. I’m a Program Manager by profession and my curiosity to create and curate products is something I absolutely enjoy! My love for natural ingredients had me researching products that I could make and use on my skin. This eventually drove me to create personal handcrafted soaps and other bath products. After many, many trials & tests, it led to the birth of “Citrus Tree”, with the amazing support of my family and friends. All my soaps are handmade by me in small batches in a dedicated space at my home. My soaps are all-natural, palm-free and devoid of any artificial ingredients. My "mirepoix of oils" are always olive, coconut and castor oils. I do use shea, cocoa butters in place of palm-oil to harden my soaps. I do sometimes substitute shea butter with avocado butter or mango butter, depending on the recipe. As for scent goes, I only use essential oils and also do not use mica or oxides of any kind. My soaps are 100% natural as they are good for your body and the environment. I use clay, roots, decoctions, spices and infused oils to color my soaps. This product is great! Love the soaps. I will say they are much stronger scent wise than I anticipated. It’s almost overwhelming the amount of fragrance in these soaps. I find these to be on the high side of wholesale for bars of soap but is doable in my shop. However, the shipping box was oversized with too much room for movement. They could have fit 36 bars of soap instead of just my 12. Because of that the shipping cost was high causing me to have to charge $14 a bar to cover that cost.

Hi Melissa, thank you for your kind words. I really appreciate it. I wanted to address a few points - 1) We don't have multiple sizes of boxes for different orders. This is not a cost effective option for us. However, we do have a few option of different sizes of boxes and use the smallest one that is appropriate for each order. 2) As for the scent, we don't go more than the 3% of EOs for our soaps. Individually wrapped, each bar was protected perfectly through shipping. The best part? The soap is a high quality product that deserves a higher price point. Each bar has its own chutzpah: some have a tiny salt finish, others dried lavender or eucalyptus flowers. A lovely line that is selling the first few hours on display.
