About Csonkas Custom Rustics LLC

Welcome to Csonka's Custom Rustics Thank you for visiting my shop and taking the time to learn more about me. My Name is Chris Csonka, I am a Husband and a father of three kids. I grew up in Graham, WA, making me a country boy at heart. My dad, Julius Csonka moved us out there when we were very young. After serving in the Vietnam War and overcoming cancer, he purchased a saw mill and settled down to raise his family. He used his saw mill to cut and sell lumber for people and help provide for his family. However, it was never business, but more so something he enjoyed and loved doing! He would always ask my siblings and I to help, but of course as a kid, I preferred to play around, but still gave the help he needed. After watching him and his passion for carpentry, I found myself wanting to do the same. Taking all the knowledge and skill he taught me throughout my life, I decided to use what I learned and opened a business for myself. Now, that same passion my Dad had, is instilled in me, and I can now provide for my own family, just like he did his. In 2016, I lost my Dad to cancer. I am so blessed that I got to spend my life loving and learning from a loving father, but more so an amazing man. I am proud to carry on his last name and I am lucky to have the amazing support from my own family. Read their story
