About Fish Aye Trading
john doherty is a fisherman artist out of Harwich , Cape Cod. As a licensed charter boat captain he gets out on the water often . His technique is know as Gyotaku or " fish rubbing " It all started one day removing the days catch from his boat. One of the fish left an imprint on the deek that caught John's eye. From there he began to experiment w/ paint ink and fish. Creating a body of work now know as Fishaye Art. We find it stylish and functional for any coastal home . All created right here in the USA
