About Minorquines
The Avarca sandal, an iconic Menorcan model, was born in the 1950s in Menorca, the most preserved island in the Balearic Islands. By necessity, the peasants fashioned sandals adapted to working the land, protecting the foot but ventilated enough to face the summer heat. Since 2012 the French brand Menorquines has been making its Avarcas in the best workshop in Spain, bringing a touch of modernity to authentic know-how.
