TeachCreateExplore was born from a teacher stuck at home trying to figure out life during the early days of the pandemic. As I figured out how to balance remote learning, losing the boundaries between work and home, and feeling like I had watched every show on every streaming platform, I turned to crafting to maintain my sanity. I finally had the time to try making all of the accessories I had seen in ads and knew I could figure out how to make myself. I started with vegan faux leather earrings and found that others liked them as much as I did! This encouraged me to begin experimenting with other shapes and materials of earrings, and gave me the confidence to branch out into headbands, hair bows, and more! I have had so much fun coming up with the different designed you see here! I've also loved searching for materials to use and finding other small businesses to purchase these supplies from- nearly everything that goes in to making each of these pieces was purchased from a woman-owned small business!
