Yolélé was founded by Senegalese chef Pierre Thiam, award-winning chef + restaurateur, cookbook author, activist, and global ambassador for African cuisine + culture. Yolélé is a term of exuberance in the Fulani language, shouted out to get parties started and people dancing. Our fonio chips are the first in the world.
