Free Day Popcorn is a family-owned popcorn farm on the Kansas–Nebraska border. Founded in 2015 by farmers Nate & Stacey Freitag, we grow and pack premium popcorn kernels known for consistent popping, great texture, and strong shelf performance. We grow three core popcorn varieties: Yellow Butterfly – light, fluffy, classic popcorn White Butterfly – tender, low-hull premium popcorn Mushroom – dense kernels for kettle corn, caramel, and flavored popcorn We also offer Popping Ears™ — whole ears of popcorn sold “pop-on-the-cob,” a fast-moving novelty item for gifting, farm stores, school fundraisers, and seasonal displays.
