About Christina & Co.

Christina Nicoll is a self- taught artist and designer based out of Indiana, PA. While she has lived in Western Pennsylvania most of her life with her husband, and raising their 4 children, she brings her inspiration from her childhood home on the East Coast of VA. She grew up with a family of entrepreneurs who found ways to earn and provide for the family, often by means of creatively making goods to sell in an effort to supplement income, earn extra funds for something special, and often just for the sheer joy of it. She recalls watching art shows on Saturday mornings with her grandmother; mainly Bob Ross. Her Grandmother would then become an oil painter. Her Father, a welder, would become a metal artist. Her Mother, a seamstress, would win awards at fairs, and her late Step-Father would piddle around with wood carving, furniture making, restorations, repairs, and eventually acrylics on canvas. There were also lessons in hand embroidery, and Sunday afternoons spent learning to make old fashioned rag rugs. While Christina is the curator of the business, it is very much a family lifestyle. Her husband assists and supports where needed, the kids pitch in with running their store, and pouring the candles; with the candle portion of the business eventually being handed over to the children. You will see there is simplicity in the items we offer, with not only crisp, clean lines, and a hint of the East Coast.Read their story
