About IWANCIW functional funware

Everything I make is USA-Made from 100% cotton and is in its original natural state before I dye it in color, either in fabric, or as a finished garment. In color theory, I always continue each season with spring/summer mid-tone pastels or as I term it “fresh-fruit tones”. My strong suit is represented in rich fall/winter ‘‘jewel tones” infused with earth tone compliments. The styling is classic in its approach, with pullovers and cardigans that are essentially coordinated as potential outfits. My exclusive “Sky-Dye” graphic technique depicts imagery of the sky. My better pieces are a type of patchwork I call “Geo-Pattern” which emulates natural landscapes. “Geo-Patterning” is then created by using our exclusive sustainable method called "Nu-Cycling”. “Nu-Cycling” is where we take our own dyed fabric “cut-aways” and sew them together to make patchwork units. After which we combine with our “Sky-Dye” regular fabric to transform into masterful finished pieces. Dyeing completely by hand on 5 yard lengths of fabric, my staff of artists and I apply color without the mechanical guides using only their eyes to follow the master original. The fabrics are manipulated- folded, crinkled, pulled, pinched, stuffed, tied, and twisted during the art-dye process. Some colors must be applied to the front, while others to the back of the fabrics, to achieve the desired effects.
