About Back Alley Cat Goods

Hello! Back Alley Cat Goods is a woman owned shop located in the Madison, Wisconsin area. A lover of all things cats, I started this shop in the summer of 2022 after being inspired by my mom's talent for handmade items and her gifting me our family sewing machine. My motivation originally stemmed from satisfying the two cats in our household with catnip toys that I could design and manufacture from scratch. Since I started, I rediscovered my passion for sewing, and wanted to share my homemade items in the hope that it brings other kitties as much joy as they've brought mine! Each catnip filled design is play tested by our own in-house "qual-kitty" assurance team -- Acacia & Mulan. They're frequently posting on our social media with their hard work!Read their story
