About The Lion and the Lamb

At The Lion & The Lamb, we believe childhood was never meant to feel rushed, noisy, or disconnected. What began as a mother searching for meaningful ways to slow down and teach her children through story became a collection of heirloom sensory storyboxes designed to bring families back together through wonder, imagination, and faith-filled play. As a former teacher, artist, and mother of four boys, I saw how deeply children learn when they can touch, create, imagine, and experience a story for themselves. I wanted something more than screens, busy activities, and disposable toys. I longed for meaningful moments around the table — stories that invited conversation, connection, and lasting memories. So I began creating them myself. Each storybox is thoughtfully designed with original stories, handcrafted details, sensory elements, and intentional play experiences that help children engage with timeless truths in a hands-on way. Inspired by both classic literature and Bible stories, our collections are created to nurture imagination, encourage slower childhood rhythms, and help families make learning feel beautiful again. From hand-painted characters, custom 3D printed story pieces, original hardcover storybooks, and sensory play materials, every detail is designed to feel warm, nostalgic, and worthy of being passed down.Read their story
