About Eight By One

Hi! I'm Ariella, the girl behind Eight By One. Back in 2013 while in my 3rd year of college, I experienced a mental breakdown. My world as I had constructed it in my mind suddenly collapsed and I was left to my own devices. It was a pivotal moment as I realized my mental health had been a suppressed issue for most of my life. While taking the following semester off from school, I made a bracelet out of a penny. Pennies have always been a symbol of positivity, showing up randomly in my path when I need a reminder the most. The iconic bracelet was known as the Wish Bracelet and with every one sold, a portion of the sale was donated to a charity of the customer's choice. That bracelet led me to create a business shortly after, one that was beyond my wildest dreams. ​ About 10 months and $20,000 donated to over 25 charities later, I knew I had found the silver lining on my path. It is my mission to share my story of adversity and healing with the hopes to change the world, even if it is just one person's world.
