About Binky and Bell
Binky and Bell features the cartoon dog and cat art of Rick Gardner and combines his skills in fundraising and art to help homeless pets through Binky and Bell. Gardner has completed three coloring books and one joke book, and profits from these projects support numerous local rescues and shelters. For Gardner, dogs bring joy, happiness, unconditional love, and a passion to capture these feelings and share them with others. At the urging of his fans, he has expanded his art to include cats. His influences include Roy Lichtenstein, James Thurber, Charles Shultz, and numerous modern-day graphic artists. Gardner lives outside of Raleigh, NC with his wife and their three dogs: Cali, Josie, and Olive.
