About Lost Lands of Verne

The Lost Lands of Verne is an exciting, immersive adventure game designed to be the perfect blend of familiar family board gaming experiences like Monopoly, Risk, and Catan with the strategy of tabletop RPGs like Dungeons & Dragons! In The Lost Lands of Verne, you play as an adventurer who has come to Verne to acquire wealth, fight in battles, collect powerful equipment and magical abilities, and chart your path to the top and become Verne’s new ruler! The Lost Lands of Verne is best played with 2 to 4 players, aged 10+, and a game of Verne typically lasts between 60 and 120 minutes. The Lost Lands of Verne was created by two lifelong friends with a simple goal: to create an adventure game that’s accessible to everyone, offering both casual fun and deep strategic play. Our mission was to build a game that players of all levels could enjoy— whether for a quick, easy session or an immersive, complex experience. We began working on Verne in 2020. Since then, we've perfected Verne’s gameplay, expanded our passionate team, and fostered a vibrant community through game nights and events. The Lost Lands of Verne officially launched in March 2024, and has since sold hundreds of copies around the world. Verne is also available in local game stores in the New York City area.
