Luna + June is a San Diego–based embroidery brand founded by artist and educator Lucy Lou. What began as a small handmade business creating custom embroidered baby name sweaters and keepsakes has grown into a collection of embroidery kits, patterns, personalized gifts, and creative tools designed to make embroidery approachable for everyone. Through years of workshops and hands-on teaching, Lucy helped hundreds of beginners learn to stitch with confidence. Along the way, she noticed the same challenge over and over again: people were excited to learn embroidery but felt overwhelmed by supplies, tutorials, and not knowing where to start. That experience inspired the creation of The Embroidery Stitch Kit™ and Luna + June's growing line of beginner-friendly embroidery products. Designed to remove the guesswork, our products focus on simplicity, creativity, and helping customers experience the joy of making something with their own hands.
