Raised in Queens, NY and Miami, FL, Manushkka Sainvil is a self-proclaimed Double-Dutch Master and the girliest-girl you'll ever meet. After studying History at the University of Florida and Meteorology at Penn State University, she packed her bags and headed west. Frustrated with thinning hair from the over-processing of chemical relaxers, she took the leap and went natural in 2005. However, it wasn't until after moving from Florida to Denver in 2009 (talk about climate shock!) that she truly understood the natural hair struggle. Thrilled with all the new growth but tired of wearing a bun every day, she decided it was time to research natural hair styling options, all of which had one common denominator - a great moisturizer!
