The Virginia Diner brand is tied to our legendary restaurant which was established in 1929 and has been a traditional stop along the highway for thousands of travelers over the years. Located in Wakefield, Virginia, the Virginia Diner opened in 1929 as a refurbished railroad dining car. So the stories go, we first started serving up freshly roasted Virginia peanuts for area railroad workers, which eventually evolved into a much larger array of down-home southern comfort foods. Of course our large crunchy Virginia peanuts were a favorite snack and confection ingredient of the Diner, because our location is in the heart of Virginia Peanut Country! Today, we have a legendary restaurant with traditional and progressive down-home Virginia cuisine, and an expansive production warehouse where we create all kinds of seasoned peanuts, nuts, snack mixes, and treats that are shipped all over. Customers have found our brand of products to be of exceptional quality and very popular for gifts, snacks, and recipes. We have a wide selection of peanuts, nuts, and mixes, as well as decadent chocolate-covered items and gift sets. Our newly evolved pantry line allows us to share our special southern comfort foods with you, through easy-to-make boxed mixes for biscuits, pancakes, cobblers, and cookies.
