About Kohli Kraft

Designer Maggie Wicht received her Masters of Industrial and Product Design at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY. She worked for furniture companies and sustainability firms in New York City before giving it all up to become a mother and move to sunny California. Now she loves to be able to spend time honing her woodcraft skills and spending time outdoors with her daughter, imparting her passion for sustainability and the beauty of the natural world to the next generation. <<PROCESS>> All our earrings are RECLAIMED WOOD from local furniture and instrument makers. We bend the wood using steam to create twists and curves. We gild the wood with 24K GOLD leaf or FINE SILVER leaf (more pure than sterling 925). Earring wood is protected with premium PolyWhey eco-finish and anti-tarnish metal leaf sealer. Mobiles and ornaments are finished with natural nut oils and organic beeswax.
