When the business began in 2018, we wanted to make immaculately handcrafted items that would help you express your unique style. We want to give you goods made with thoughtfully selected materials in natural shades that will enhance your inherent beauty. We always use furs that are sourced from Indigenous trappers in the Yukon and as a result, you can be assured that every fur is traceable and ethically harvested with the greatest respect and humility. We want to ensure that the products you're buying feel good and look amazing. We are best known for our award winning line of fur jewelry. We work with materials that are naturally coloured and create designs that are simple and understated which allows the texture and tone of the materials to be prominent. Our products are always place-based, reflective of where the materials originate. The minimalist design allows the fur's unparalleled texture to take centre stage. Our company is co-owned by husband and wife duo, Vanessa Aegirsdottir and George Bahm. George is our primary fur supplier and he is also our cultural advisor who makes sure that everything is done in a good way with ceremony and intention. We operate our production facility and retail store on the traditional territory of the Kwanlin Dün First Nation and the Ta'an Kwach'an Council in Canada and we also operate a second seasonal store in Shgag̱wéi (Skagway Alaska), the traditional territory of the Chilkoot Traditional Council.
