About Teil Duncan

Teil Duncan Henley is a contemporary artist based in Columbus, Georgia. Establishing her fine art studio in Charleston, South Carolina after receiving her Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art from Auburn University, Teil moved her studio back to her hometown of Columbus in 2019 with her husband and their three children. Inspired by light, movement, color and pattern, Teil’s work infuses abstract elements, pixelated compositions and joyful color combinations no matter the subject. For nearly a decade, her paintings and prints have captivated collectors and interior designers across the country. In March 2024, Teil expanded her scope with the addition of Teil Textiles & Wallpaper. A curated collection of fabric by the yard, wallpaper and grasscloth wall coverings, this new creative avenue is a testament to the artist's interest in and mastery within the world of patterns and color.
