Tusk is a family-run leather goods brand born in New York and rooted in Mumbai. Founded over 30 years ago by Hiten Manseta, Tusk was inspired by the vibrant kite festivals of his childhood—colorful, joyful, and full of movement. That same spirit lives on in every piece we create. We craft timeless leather goods designed to last—pieces that stay with you and evolve with you. Our clean, minimalist silhouettes are elevated by unexpected color stories—each one a quiet nod to the vibrancy of India, thoughtfully balanced with New York’s refined edge. Our leather is sourced from trusted Italian tanneries we've partnered with for decades. Every piece is then brought to life by artisans in our family-owned workshop in Mumbai—many of whom have been with us since the early days. Over the years, we’ve shared milestones together—marriages, growing families, even grandchildren. They’re more than colleagues; they’re an extension of our family. Some of our craftsmen are third-generation leatherworkers. Their care, skill, and deep knowledge are stitched into every seam.
