Saffron & Sage is a luxurious bio-scientific skincare brand formulated with plant-based vitamins, minerals and actives for bio-available skin nutrition. From a young age I knew I wanted to be an Entrepreneur, but it wasn't until high school that I began dreaming of a business centered around skincare. In high school I suffered from severe cystic acne that was not only physically painful but emotionally scaring. My mom took me to the Dermatologist and they prescribed me every drug on the market from doxycycline to tetracycline, but nothing worked. We decided to try another route so I began seeing an Esthetician where I would get these excruciatingly painful chemical peels. I can't tell you the amount of money my mother spent paying for products trying to find a solution for my skin and yet nothing worked. I dreamed of discovering the root cause of my skincare blues and finding skincare solutions without drugs and chemicals while obtaining real results. Fast forward ten years later doctors found four tumors rapidly growing in my thyroid. This lead me down the path of holistic healthcare. From plant-based medicine to plant-based products I was on a mission to heal my body from the inside out. Detoxing my beauty bag was essential in regaining my wellbeing. I began ditching my dirty products and yet I couldn't find anything to give my skin the nutrition it needed so we created our own.
