Gentlemen's Affair was founded in 2001 by designer Lise Nyborg Pedersen, as an original men's clothing brand. Since then, Lise has created thousands of unique designs for women who want to be feminine in their very own personal way, with an edgy-retro humorous touch. The goal is to make women look as good as possible, highlight their best sides, and more models like the pantsuits Granita and Goldie have become “Power Items.” The quality is genuine, and each piece of clothing is only made in 25 copies, and is 100% European. Lise collects quality fabrics and assesories all over Europe. Especially Italy. Each piece of clothing can last for a minimum of 20 years and customers are encouraged to buy/sell used items on via the “Gentlemen's Affair Vintage” Facebook page for circular economy. The Goldie pantsuit is the most famous piece of clothing, and is inspired by the film “Swing shift”, in which Goldie Hawn with a group of cool women worked at an aircraft factory in the United States during World War Two. Goldie is additionally worn by celebrities such as Liv Tyler, Helena Kristensen and X-Factor star Heidi Herløw. Goldie is produced from 2023 in organic denim.Read their story
