Ofelia Cisneros in 2008 started embellishing shawls and made statement jewelry to add a little flair to her work attire. Coworkers and complete strangers began asking where they could purchase her designs and she soon started selling them in boutiques near her coastal northern California town. In just a few years, this personal creative pursuit has become a full time profession for Ofelia , her husband, and a small team of trained Artisans. Materials are sourced from around the world-- Indonesia, Ecuador, Colombia, Thailand, China, and USA. Each jewelry piece is handcrafted in the family's California home studio. The shawls are designed by her and sourced from Bali, Indonesia. Many of our materials used are eco-friendly. Beads used in our jewelry include natural semi-precious gem stones, fresh water pearls, tagua beads, paper beads, aluminum wire components, and silicone. The jewelry is hand made in our home shop in Salinas, California. Our shawls and wraps are made of Rayon and manufactured for us in Bali, Indonesia. Read their story
