Zippernut Press™ creates greeting cards, stationery, and gifts, each with an itty-bitty built-in bitch slap. We're all about making the planet a better place through the unlikely tools of sarcasm and snarky humor. Customers cackle at our card racks like hens on nitrous oxide. Harl Van Deursen, Master Snarkwit, lives, works, and creates these questionably-useful products in Kansas City, Missouri. He's been quite the smartass as long as anyone can remember, and no one expects him to change. Harl started Zippernut Press™ in 2005 because there just weren't enough greeting cards out there to express the thoughts people really have. He dropped the sap and injected hefty doses of humor, snark, and sarcasm, then sprinkled in a touch of cynicism. He uses clean, bold graphics so that each little verbal spanking comes though with no cartoonishness or gooey smarminess. In those humble beginnings, every card was printed and hand-folded by Zippy himself. When note cards were added, each set was packaged by the same two hands. Eventually, this got out of hand and we moved to a local printer for printing, but we still produce, quality check, and hand-label everything in small batches. We donate some of every sale of our Cancer Sucks! series to cancer research. That's right: We help lighten things up by making people laugh about something that's not even funny, and then we help search for a cure. Oh, yeah.
