Kim van der Sanden became a paper crafter in late 2003 and was quickly bitten by the crafting bug. In 2006, she opened My Favorite Things, initially offering existing paper-crafting products that were her favorites, the impetus behind the Company’s namesake, My Favorite Things. She then decided to produce proprietary products and debuted her initial line-up of Clear Stamps at the CHA Show in January of 2008. The goal of My Favorite Things is, and always has been, to offer fresh, fun, and completely distinctive products.
